Flooding is possible throughout Sunday 23 February and into the morning of Monday 24 February.
Rainfall overnight has caused a response in the catchments. Further persistent rain is forecast throughout the daytime and overnight on Sunday into Monday morning, with the heaviest rain over high ground, especially over south or southwest-facing upslopes. Levels on the River Lynher are expected to rise.
Anticipated levels suggest that there will be flooding to low lying land and roads close to the river. We expect the river to remain high throughout Monday.
The main areas of concern are Rame Peninsula, Callington, Saltash, Rilla Mill, Pillaton and Landrake.
Take care near the areas of concern and monitor your local weather conditions.
We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages.
This message will be updated on Monday morning or earlier if the situation changes.
