River Yeo at Mudford

The River Yeo level remains high on Sunday evening. Levels are currently dropping, however there is the possibility of a rise again in response to this afternoon's rain, with a peak around 8PM. Consequently this Flood Warning remains in force. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Yeo, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Mudford Bridge, Parsonage Farm area and properties on Main Street. Light rain is forecast to clear the area around 10PM on Sunday evening, leaving a predominantly dry overnight period. We are closely monitoring rainfall and river levels, and Field Teams have been out checking flood defences and clearing weed screens. Act on your flood plan if you have one, and consider activating any property flood protection products you may have. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
