Flood Alert

Ginge Brook

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are high but stable on the Ginge Brook following persistent rainfall earlier in the week. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads remains possible today, 22/11/24, especially in the areas closest to the Ginge Brook near Steventon. The forecast is for a predominantly dry day before low pressure brings persistent and at times heavy rainfall from the early hours of Saturday. We expect river levels to continue to fall slowly today but levels are likely to respond again to Saturday's rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated this evening, 22/11/24, or as the situation changes.
