River Kym in Bedford Borough and Cambridgeshire

River levels are high and but beginning to fall in response to rainfall from Storm Bert. Flooding remains possible over the course of this evening (Sunday 24/11/2024). Areas most at risk are around the River Kym and River Til from Yelden, and Upper Dean to Hail Weston. The weather forecast is for further rainfall tonight followed by drier conditions on Monday. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 10am, 25/11/2024.
